Job summary

PPM America, Inc. invites a Credit Analyst to join the Fixed Income Research Department. You will perform quantitative and qualitative credit analysis of corporate bonds and loans within our core portfolios, preparing investment reports and presenting to senior staff.

The role requires 1–3 years in finance-related fields, strong Excel modeling, and clear written and verbal communication. A CFA path is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 1–3 years of post-undergraduate work experience in finance, accounting or related fields.
• Experience conducting original research and communicating results in writing preferred.
• Direct exposure to investing or credit training preferred.
• Interest in or progression toward CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative credit analysis of holdings in portfolios.
• Prepare written investment reports and present findings to senior management.
• Support senior analysts on projects including industry research and analytics.
