Job description

The BCMA CB Intern Analyst NE is an intermediate-level position responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross-selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

Citi's Banking group is looking for Summer Analysts to join the Corporate Banking team in NAM. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding complex financial issues facing our clients worldwide. They drive client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. Corporate Bankers also decide where to invest the firm's capital and execute those investments, working in partnership with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets Organization.

The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June with a 1-week in-depth training. After a placement process aligned with your interests and our needs, you will be matched with a Corporate Banking team. During the program, you're eligible to participate in Citi's mentorship program. Top performers often return as Full-Time Analysts after graduation.

Your time here will look something like this...

• Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis

• Assist in presenting and developing new ideas to clients
• Structure deals and transactions
