Job summary

Citi in San Francisco seeks a Corporate Banking Senior Associate to lead planning of investment strategies for major clients, coordinating with Institutional Banking. The role aims to drive revenue by cross selling Citi’s platform while deploying capital and managing risk.

You will partner with Senior Bankers, assist with cash management and trading initiatives, and support cross-selling across the full product spectrum. A strong credit background and Citi policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience.
• Series 79 and 63 within 150 days of joining.
• Knowledge of Citi’s credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support.
• Assist with day to day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, FX, loan activity, debt capital markets, share repurchase and derivatives.
• Support Bankers in cross-selling full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue.
• Evaluate public filings, research, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce analyses.
• Stay abreast of market trends, best practices and competitive landscape.

The Corporate Banking Senior Associate is an intermediate level professional responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support
• Assist with day to day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase and interest rate/equity derivatives
• Support Bankers in cross-selling full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue
• Responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses
• Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, "best practices" and competitive landscape

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience
• Strong credit skills, credit background and knowledge of Citi’s credit policies,
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Series 79 and 63 within 150 days of joining

Education

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred
