Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of corporate transactional experience at a leading law firm with emphasis on private equity investments and divestitures, portfolio company transactions, and governance.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Team-oriented, able to independently take on responsibility for drafting primary deal documents, leading diligence, deal management, client interaction and work product.
  • Must be in good standing with the CA State Bar.

Responsibilities

  • Draft primary deal documents for complex corporate transactions.
  • Lead complex due diligence and manage deal teams including junior associates.
  • Oversee deal management and client interactions; ensure high-quality work product.

Candidates must be in good standing with the CA State Bar.Practice SummaryGreenberg Traurig's Private Equity Practice has wide-ranging experience representing private equity firms in complex domestic and cross-border transactions in a variety of industries, including consumer products, aerospace, manufacturing, food and beverage, health care, financial services, distribution, and technology. We work regularly with regional, national, and global private equity firms advising them in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and fund formation. We also assist and advise portfolio companies, management teams, co-investors, and other participants in all aspects of private equity transactions.
