Job Description

We are representing a well-regarded law firm seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Salt Lake City office. This role will primarily focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, with opportunities to work on capital markets transactions, ’34 Act projects, and a variety of general corporate matters such as corporate restructurings, strategic partnerships, fund formation, and private equity and venture capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group.
• Handle capital markets transactions, corporate restructurings, fund formation, and strategic partnerships.
• Advise on private equity and venture capital investments.
• Assist clients with a range of general corporate matters.
• Work collaboratively with a talented team of attorneys and participate in business development activities.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials.
• 2-4 years of corporate experience, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and ideally capital markets experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Utah bar admission or ability to become licensed in Utah.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred.
