Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP in Philadelphia, PA, and New York, NY, seeks a mid-level Corporate Associate to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team. You will take a lead role on sophisticated transactions in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and related deals; you will draft agreements, negotiate with opposing counsel, and advise on securities law matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience handling mergers, acquisitions, VC, private equity, joint ventures, and related deals.
• Led deals through closing, including drafting primary transaction agreements and negotiating with opposing counsel.
• Experience advising public and/or private companies on securities law matters, including capital-raising and compliance.
• A law degree and active bar admission are required.

Candidates with the below experience and credentials are encouraged to apply:

3-5 years of experience working on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, joint ventures, and similar transactions;

Demonstrated success leading deals through closing, including drafting primary transaction agreements and negotiating with opposing counsel;

Experience advising public and/or private companies on securities law matters, including capital-raising transactions and compliance, is a plus;

A law degree and active bar admission are required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $215,000 to $245,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
