  • Active bar admission in the candidate's jurisdiction or eligibility for waiver.

Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4 to 7 years of experience to join its Private Equity practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The position focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions, including representing clients in both buy-side and sell-side matters. Duties
  • Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
  • Handle both buy-side and sell-side M&A matters.
  • Assist with structuring, negotiating, and completing complex corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements and other transaction-related documents.
  • Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Advise clients on transaction structures, corporate matters, and related legal considerations.

Requirements
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions.
  • Experience representing clients in both buy-side and sell-side matters.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated corporate transactions and competing deadlines.
  • Active bar admission in the state where the candidate resides or eligibility to obtain admission through waiver within a short period.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Education and Certifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for prompt admission through waiver.
