Our client, an entrepreneurial and growing New Jersey law firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate with 5+ years of sophisticated corporate law firm experience to join its expanding Corporate and Business Law Practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to represent founders, family owned and privately held businesses, investors, and middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, outside general counsel matters, and the strategic legal issues that drive growing companies.
The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience handling mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, commercial agreements, corporate governance, and ongoing business counseling for privately held companies. Just as importantly, you enjoy working directly with clients, understanding their businesses, solving practical business problems, and becoming a trusted legal advisor rather than simply executing transactions.
This practice is designed for attorneys who want more than excellent deal experience. It's for lawyers who want to become trusted advisors, build lasting client relationships, and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of a successful corporate practice. You'll work directly with experienced partners and clients, take ownership of sophisticated matters, participate in business development, and develop the judgment, business skills, and client relationships that define successful corporate partners.
New Jersey bar admission is required, and New York bar admission is preferred.
Collaborative entrepreneurial culture that recognizes individual contributions and supports long term career growth.
