Job summary

HIA Legal in Dallas is seeking a mid-level M&A and Private Equity Associate to join its international practice. You will handle acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and related corporate advisory work with significant client contact from early in the engagement.

The role rewards initiative and ownership, offering direct client exposure, a mix of strategic M&A and PE work, and opportunities to develop business development skills within a supportive partnership.

Qualifications

• Substantial M&A experience with a strong grasp of corporate law and market terms.
• Excellent drafting and deal management skills.

• Eligibility to practice law in Texas (for US postings) or jurisdiction equivalent.

A leading international law firm is looking to add mid-level associates to its M&A and private equity practice in Dallas. The team acts for corporates and private equity sponsors on a steady flow of transactional work, and associates are given a high level of client contact from early on.

What you’ll work on

• Acquisitions and dispositions for corporate and private equity clients
• Minority investments and other strategic transactions
• Drafting and negotiating core transaction documents
• Running deals day to day, from first draft through to closing
• General corporate advisory work for an established client base
