Corporate Accounting Manager, Remote in US

Job Details

Location: Remote in USA

Compensation: $130k-$140k + 10% Bonus

This pay range is provided by Creative Financial Staffing (CFS). Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience—discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Support external financial statements, including quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings, MD&A, financial statements, and footnotes.
  • Analyze new accounting standards and reporting guidance to determine their implications on financial operations and reporting.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with technical accounting policies and procedures across segments.
  • Manage the financial statement consolidation process.
  • Prepare internal monthly financial reports for executive management.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and resolve issues.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses.
  • Support acquisition initiatives through due diligence, participation in acquisition teams, and development of accounting processes for new companies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline external reporting processes through standardization and technology improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • CPA required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Public/Industry experience.
  • At least 6 years of relevant technical accounting and/or corporate consolidation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent project management skills to facilitate the quarterly close.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with SAP/BPC report writing is preferred.
