Job summary

CFS in Houston is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the month-end close, GAAP reporting, and financial statements. You will partner with executive leadership and the Controller on strategic initiatives, and you will mentor the accounting staff while driving process improvements and NetSuite enhancements.

You will manage audits, coordinate with tax and compliance teams, and maintain broad ownership across accounting operations and treasury activities in a stable corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred but not required; strongly considered for advancement.
• Experience with GAAP financial reporting and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and key accounting activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Support external audits, tax requests, and compliance requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and NetSuite enhancements.

• NetSuite experience strongly preferred
