Qualifications

A small team where you can make a big impact

The Global Controller is looking for a strong corporate accountant to become a trusted partner. You will work side by side on consolidated financial statements, month-end close, complex accounting matters, and improvements that shape how the global accounting function operates.

In a small corporate finance team supporting a much larger business, your contributions will be visible, and your ideas will reach the people who can put them into action. You will help streamline processes, strengthen reporting, and introduce automation and practical AI tools.

The destination is ownership

The immediate need is for a strong accounting partner who can share responsibility for the substantive corporate financial accounting work. The goal is for you to assume all day-to-day corporate financial accounting responsibilities currently handled by the Global Controller, with full ownership developing at your pace. The intended scope extends beyond a traditional Assistant Controller role.

Your experience determines where you start. Your readiness determines the pace. Direct mentorship, tools, resources, and support will help you build confidence and succeed as your responsibilities expand.

The support to focus on substantial work

Approximately three accounting staff handle routine processing and clerical accounting activities. You may occasionally help, but your focus will be the substantive financial accounting work. The Global Controller will initially retain staff management and supervision, giving you room to learn the business and contribute immediately.

Strong accounting skills and ambition matter here

This is a corporate financial accounting role. Specific industry experience is not required.

We are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two and a half years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful close and balance sheet responsibility.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, Excel skills, and confidence working with accounting systems.
• Sound judgment, clear communication, and enthusiasm for improving processes and growing into broader responsibility.
• CPA licensure or progress toward it is a plus, not a requirement. Public accounting, consolidation, and experience across multiple entities are valuable.
