Job Overview – Corporate Accountant (Temporary):Compensation: $35 – $50/hourLocation: Stamford, CTSchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Accountant (Temporary) in Stamford, CT, to support general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close with our client. You will record cash receipts, process intercompany transfers, prepare account reconciliations, and review expense reports for compliance. This role also involves assisting with journal entries, receivable schedules, and special projects, providing an excellent opportunity for accountants with corporate accounting and reconciliation experience in a hybrid setting.Responsibilities as the Corporate Accountant:

• Cash & Intercompany Accounting: Record cash receipts, intercompany transfers, and reconcile activity across affiliate ledgers.
• Bank Reconciliations: Prepare monthly reconciliations for multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Expense Compliance: Review employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Month-End Close: Assist with general ledger close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Invoicing & Reporting: Process reimbursable expense invoices, maintain receivable schedules, and support special projects as needed.

Qualifications for the Corporate Accountant:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience required, preferably within corporate accounting, financial services, or private equity environments.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger accounting systems is required, with experience in ERP platforms preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
