Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced accounting professional to perform core accounting functions, including reconciliations and recurring tasks, with opportunities to assist on special projects.

Responsibilities include month-end close activities, cash and bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly and quarterly sales tax returns. Strong Excel skills and understanding of accounting principles are required, with 1–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-5 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred.
• Understanding of accounting principles is necessary.
• Strong Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Month end close routines: journal entries, meet deadlines, reconciliations.
• Support business initiatives.
• Cash Reconciliation and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.
• Assist on special projects as needed.
