Job summary

The ideal candidate will have GL accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail to meet deadlines and improve internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and allocations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review financial data, investigate variances, and provide account analysis.
• Prepare recurring schedules, rollforwards, and audit‑ready workpapers.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Support prepaid expense accounting and recurring revenue processes.
• Compile financial information for management reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and stronger internal controls.
