Zusammenfassung

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant to prepare financial reports tracking assets, liabilities, profits and losses, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.

You will support monthly close, consolidate statements, and assist with audits. This 100% on-site position at our Ladera Ranch, CA headquarters offers a starting salary of $95,000 depending on experience plus an annual discretionary bonus, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and growth

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in public accounting or private company accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on and capable of working under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Assists with preparing monthly financial statement consolidation and quarterly financial statement packages for senior management.
• Coordinates and reviews monthly reporting from property accountants.
• Produces journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general accounting duties.
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Prepares supplemental financial schedules.
• Assists in the preparation of internal reports for variance analysis.
• Assists with external financial statement audits.
• Assists with Treasury management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
