Blackwood Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support month-end close, general accounting, billing and collections, customer onboarding, and fixed assets. The role will also act as a backup for other finance team members to ensure continuity of operations.

The position requires strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments. A2C training and automation experience are valued as part of ongoing process improvements.

Competenze

• Minimum of two years of accounting, AR, finance operations, or related field.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate routine work and improve accuracy.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation for month-end close.
• Reconcile GL accounts and analyze variances; support close schedule.
• Manage collections, review AR aging, and resolve past-due balances.
• Assist with cash application and receipts reconciliation.
• Setup new customers across systems and maintain records.
• Support capital expenditures, asset tagging, and depreciation.
• Cross-train on procure-to-pay, inventory, payroll, and treasury.
• Document procedures and seek automation opportunities.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc finance requests.
