Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Coronary in Charlotte to support Abbott’s Vascular division. The role focuses on case planning, case coverage, and product pull-through while educating customers in hospital settings to help achieve sales goals and increase market share.

The position requires educating on vascular products, performing in-service training, and attending procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, IR Lab, and OR to ensure success with Abbott’s products. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Meet with existing and potential customers (physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify clinical needs and discuss product applications.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals and market share growth.
• Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products.
