Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2-5 years of related work experience, demonstrated competency in clinical acumen.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
• Preferred: Patient interaction experience within a lab/operating room environment.
• Preferred: Relevant Technical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for Abbott Vascular products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of Abbott Vascular products by giving presentations and demonstrations.
• Perform clinical and library research and participate in case reviews and clinical observation with physicians and/or lab staff.
• Attend clinical procedures in labs and operating rooms of hospital accounts to assure customer and patient success with Abbott Vascular products.
• Meet with existing and potential clients by traveling to identify their clinical needs and discuss how Abbott Vascular products can help them achieve goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative and feasible solutions with other related personnel.
