The role emphasizes complex corneal disorders and refractive surgeries (LASIK/PRK), with a strong focus on outcomes, patient-centered care, and a supportive, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Experience in corneal and anterior segment procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Restore vision and improve quality of life for patients with corneal disorders and anterior segment disease.
• Evaluate and diagnose corneal and anterior segment conditions to determine surgical intervention.
• Perform corneal transplantation (PK, DSAEK, DMEK), pterygium excision, and anterior segment reconstruction.
• Pre- and post-operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for corneal and refractive procedures.
• Provide attentive post-operative care and monitor corneal healing and vision recovery.
• Collaborate with a team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front office staff.
