Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology, you will perform advanced cornea and anterior segment surgeries (PK, DSAEK, DMEK) and oversee pre- and postoperative care, while contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced corneal transplant techniques (PK, DSAEK, DMEK) and refractive procedures as appropriate.

As an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and anterior segment surgery, you will:

• Restore vision and improve the quality of life for patients with corneal disorders and anterior segment disease
• Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of corneal and anterior segment conditions, determining when surgical intervention is needed
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques including corneal transplantation (PK, DSAEK, DMEK), pterygium excision, and anterior segment reconstruction
• Perform comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for corneal and refractive procedures
• Conduct precise, minimally invasive corneal and anterior segment surgical procedures
• Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring corneal healing and vision recovery
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front office staff to deliver comprehensive corneal and anterior segment care
• Treat a wide range of ophthalmic cases, with emphasis on corneal disorders, ocular surface disease, complex anterior segment pathology, and refractive surgeries such as LASIK and PRK
