Job summary

Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, in partnership with Midwest Vision Partners, seeks a Cornea Specialist to join our team in Kent, Stow, and Fairlawn, OH.

Surgery is performed at St. Clare in Stow with a schedule of Mondays and three Fridays per month; Lasik on Fridays optional. Expect 30–35 patient days, strong team support, no inpatient duties.

Starting base compensation is $425,000 per year with a $50,000 signing bonus; board eligibility or certification required and Ohio license.

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board certified in ophthalmology.
• Must be able to obtain Ohio Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Provide cornea specialty care and surgeries.
• Collaborate with cataract eval team to feed surgeons.
• Participate in weekly surgeries and clinic scheduling.

Job description

Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, a premier eye care provider with over 30 years of clinical excellence across Northeast Ohio, and Midwest Vision Partners, are looking for an exceptional Cornea Specialist to join our team.

• Physician relocating from Ohio to Florida due to family reasons...step into an already fully functioning practice on Day1.
• Clinic locations are Kent, Stow, and Fairlawn, OH
• Surgery is at St. Clare in Stow (named a US News Best ASC in 2025)Surgery: Every Monday and 3 Fridays/month (phacos only on Friday)
  24-26 Sx cases per day
• Lasik 1-2 Fridays/month (optional)
• Patient volume is 30-35 patients per day; mix of cataract and cornea
• Team approach with a recent surgeon moving to a medical ophthalmologist role doing cataract evals to feed our surgeons
• Most cat evals were being fed to this new surgeon
• Call: MDs are backup; OD is primary. If the OD needs the MD, it is by phone only
• No hospital call or inpatient responsibilities
• Base Compensation: Starting at $425,000 (DOE)
  Signing Bonus: $50,000
