Job summary

Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in Columbus, OH, seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cornea & External Disease Surgeon to join its multi-specialty ophthalmology team, with split time between Dublin and East locations and access to an on-site ASC.

The incoming surgeon will perform cornea transplants, keratoconus management, complex anterior segment and cataract surgeries, and participate in OD residency education and mentorship within COA's residency program.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Ophthalmology residency completed.
• Fellowship training in Cornea & External Disease.
• Board eligible or Board Certified.

Columbus Ophthalmology Associates (COA), a leading provider of eye care in Central Ohio for over 40 years, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Cornea & External Disease Surgeon to join its growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology team.

This is a high-demand opportunity to step into a well-established cornea practice with a 40-year legacy, offering immediate surgical volume and a robust referral network. The incoming surgeon will split time between Dublin and East locations, with access to an on-site ASC at the East office.

Academic & Training Involvement

• Active participation in COA’s Optometry (OD) Residency Program, including:
• Interviewing and selection of OD residents
• Clinical training, mentorship, and education
• Collaborative care model where OD residents assist with:
• Cataract consultations
• Specialty contact lens fittings
