Qualifications

• PhD or Doctorate in Optometry or equivalent.
• Residency or 4 years of equivalent clinical experience.
• Specialty contact lens experience.
• Eligible for faculty rank and TEI/PCE appointment.
• Compliant with TEI credentialing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education to optometry students, residents, and others at TEI and satellites.
• Deliver independent direct patient care as needed.
• Give timely feedback through Meditrek and during attending meetings.
• Assist service chiefs in remediating students as needed.
• Participate in clinical rounds, workshops, and faculty development.
