Job summary

ADM, a major agriculture and food processing company, seeks a Rail Loadout Operator at its Corn Plant location. You will load and unload railcars and trucks, operate trackmobile or shuttle equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and quality control in a demanding outdoor setting.

Expect a rotating shift pattern with varied start times; safety compliance, LOTO, and PPE use are required. Training will cover ADMway systems and equipment operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload railcars and trucks per procedures.
• Operate rail movement equipment to position railcars safely.
• Collect and label product samples for quality tests.
• Apply seals, placards, and labels to cars and trailers.
• Perform basic data entry and documentation.
• Monitor weights, product types, and IDs for accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and fall protection.
• Keep work area clean and safe; report issues.
• Inspect equipment before shifts; notify maintenance as needed.
• Assist with troubleshooting loadout or rail moves.
• Work outdoors year-round, heights and weather OK.
