Etched in San Jose is seeking an ambitious full-stack engineer to join the Core Engineering team. You will work directly with the founders to identify critical gaps and build 0-to-1 solutions across internal infrastructure, tooling, and deployment for customers.

This role thrives on ambiguity, moves fast, and values strong product sense and accountability. It is not a 9-to-5 job; you will tackle time-sensitive, business-critical challenges with immediate impact.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience building and shipping software end to end.
• Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript, React, and Python.
• Product sense and prerequisites, from AI tooling to design taste.
• Bias towards action with incomplete information.
• Ability to learn, set metrics, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Excitement for solving technical problems with data structures, storage, cloud infra, and frontend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Detect problems and inefficiencies and develop custom applications as needed.
• Work cross-functionally to execute special projects between teams.
• Define operational milestones by collecting data and building intuition.
• Design interfaces, workflows, and infrastructure that define the technical foundation.
