Job summary

Aspiranet in Merced, CA is seeking a compassionate Core Program Manager II/Clinician to oversee one or more core programs, ensure program quality, and support staff.

Reporting to the Core Program Director, you will lead operations, ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, manage budgets, and partner with funders to deliver services that support children, youth and families.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field with at least one year of management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least two years of program management experience.
  • Licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC preferred or required by state.

Responsibilities

  • Provides coordination and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the core program.
  • Recruits, develops, supports and manages core program staff.
  • Provides support, intervention, back-up, on-call support, or direct service as required.
  • Conducts supervision meetings, staff meetings, and program trainings.
  • Prepares and submits reports to funders and partners.
  • Ensures program compliance with regulatory and policy standards.
  • Manages budgets, data tracking, and quality assurance activities.
  • Oversees incidents, grievances, and documentation timeliness.
  • May oversee satellite offices or teams.

Core Program Manager II/Clinician

Location: Merced, California

Schedule: Full-Time | Exempt Tuesday-Saturday 11am-8pm

Department: Behavioral Health

Reports To: Core Program Director

Pay Range: $85,000 per year

Bonus: $1500 Sign-On Bonus

The salary range for this position is $85,000 per year for employees hired in Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences. Position Summary

Reporting to the Core Program Director, the Core Program Manager II (CSU) is responsible for managing one or more designated programs with providing effective talent management to ensure program quality assurance, client services, and compliance with applicable federal, state, funder, and agency standards. The CPM II (CSU) also supports the development of the program(s) budget, strategic planning, program reports, and interfaces with funder partners.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Operational Leadership
  • Provides coordination and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the core program.
  • Recruits, develops, supports and manages core program staff.
  • Provides support, intervention, back-up, on-call support, or direct service as required.
Training & Professional Development
  • Conducts and participates in supervision meetings, staff meetings, and special events.
  • Conduct and participates in and program related trainings.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Prepares and submit reports to funders/partners as per program and Agency requirements.
  • Ensures program compliance with The Joint Commission, safety, practice and policy standards.
  • Manages the agency’s Best Practice and Quality Assurance efforts, including compliance to data tracking systems and program specific outcome measurements.
  • Manages incidents, grievances, complaints, and concerns.
  • Monitors the quality and timely submission of case/service documentation.
  • Manages administrative functions (time sheet, mileage, time off requests, credit card submissions, other expense reimbursements, and weekly schedule, etc.) in accordance with agency policy.
  • May be assigned oversight of satellite offices/teams/programs.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Collaboration & Consultation
  • Develops the initial draft of core program budget and strategic plans.
  • Manages program to operational, contractual, and budgetary and practice standards.
  • Serve as liaison with clients, partners, staff, funders and communities entities (or other constituencies), for the program(s) managed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year management experience; OR when allowed by program, contract, or licensing body a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience managing a program in the field of family and community services.
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience working in a related field / setting (community based, social services, behavioral health, school based or residential setting).
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Must be registered with the bbs or licensed as LMFT, LCSW or LPCC.

  • On-site role in Merced, CA.
  • Occasional flexibility required to meet program and client needs.
