Job summary

Lyft’s Mapping organization is hiring a Software Engineer for the Map Data (Core Maps) team in Toronto. You will own core ingestion, conflation, and quality infrastructure affecting ETA accuracy and pickup precision.

You’ll partner with engineering, product, data science, analytics, operations, and AI/ML teams to ship scalable mapping solutions that improve rideshare experiences for riders and drivers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering industry experience.
• Extensive experience in object oriented programming, ideally in Go or Python.
• Experience with Airflow and DAGs is a plus.
