Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a Business and COR Support Specialist to assist the U.S. Coast Guard OPC program in Mobile, AL. The role covers acquisition, contract administration and cost analysis to support the COR/ACOR and program oversight.

The selected candidate will help with price/cost analysis, contract documentation, invoice processing, and lifecycle materials for production contracts. DoD SECRET clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, acquisition, engineering or related field with 24 credits.
• Minimum 4 years of COR support in shipbuilding or federal acquisition.
• Working knowledge of FAR and contract administration procedures.
• Experience with cost and price analysis for government contracts.
• Familiarity with IGCEs, RFPs, TARs and ECP packages.
• Experience preparing reports, trackers and acquisition materials for leadership.
• Knowledge of best-value and LPTA contract types.
• Familiarity with DCMA and DCAA guidance.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to work in a shipyard environment with moderate walking.
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support COR and ACOR with cost and price analyses for contract actions.
• Assist in development of pre- and post-negotiation memoranda.
• Support IGCE, RFP, TAR and ECP documentation preparation.
• Assist with CPARS inputs and contractor performance records.
• Support creation of discrepancy reports, cure notices, and documentation.
• Track milestones and actions for acquisition planning and execution.
• Assist with invoice review for task orders.
• Support administrative closeout of task orders and documentation.
• Conduct market research and assist acquisition planning docs.
• Develop reports, trackers, and presentation materials for COR oversight.
• Assist with CAC applications and access validation requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect inputs for contract execution.
