Summary of Position:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Copywriter to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a strong understanding of how to craft effective marketing messages for landing pages as well as email and social media campaigns.

General Responsibilities:

• Write clear, compelling, and informative copy for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to email campaigns, websites, brochures, and social media posts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the target audience and develop messaging that resonates with them.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform and improve writing.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure that copy fits with overall design and branding.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced but realistic work environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a copywriter in a marketing or advertising setting.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of work to demonstrate ability.
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems and HTML a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
