Job summary

DeoVR is seeking a skilled Copywriter to simplify complex ideas into engaging content for immersive media products. You will produce blog posts, tutorials, and promotional copy, coordinate visuals, and collaborate with the marketing team on SEO and distribution.

This is a fully remote, independent contractor position with a fast-paced, innovative team driving the future of immersive video experiences. Strong writing and storytelling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role in tech/media/immersive spaces.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for reader-friendly content.
• Familiar with SEO, digital marketing, and content strategies to maximize reach.
• Passionate about immersive media including headsets, cameras, and production.
• Detail-oriented with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Native or fluent English speaker.
• Bonus: familiarity with Photoshop, AI-generated images, and content design tools.
• Strong network and experience pitching stories to media outlets.

Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role—preferably in tech, media, or immersive experiences
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical topics into reader-friendly, engaging content
• Familiar with SEO, digital marketing, and content strategies to maximize reach
• Passionate about immersive media, including headsets, cameras, and production
• Detail-oriented, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Native or fluent English speaker
• Bonus Points Familiarity with Photoshop, AI-generated images, and content design tools
• Strong network and experience with pitching stories to media outlets
