Life.Church's YouVersion Copywriter is responsible for creating messaging that moves people to action and crafting campaigns that work worldwide. This role collaborates with strategists, designers, and filmmakers to bring ideas to life while aligning with Life.Church’s mission to reach people for Christ.

YouVersion requires a writer who can produce globally resonant copy, translate across languages, and thrive in two‑week sprints.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of copywriting experience with a portfolio showing brand and product marketing versatility.
• Ability to write high-impact multi-asset campaigns (email, in-app, push, workflows, scripts).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate product features into emotionally resonant benefits.

The YouVersion Copywriter is primarily responsible for creating messaging that moves people to action and crafting campaigns that work equally well around the world. This role shapes creative assets by collaborating closely with strategists, designers, and filmmakers to bring ideas to life, exerting creative influence without owning the entire strategy. The YouVersion Copywriter utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.
