Job summary

Township High School District 214 in Arlington Heights is seeking a Summer School Driver Education Teacher for a six-week contract (June 8–July 25, 2026). Location is Prospect High School with class blocks 3:30–6:00 and 6:00–8:30 pm.

Must complete the entire contract and hold IL PEL with Driver's Ed endorsement, plus commitment to diverse learners and collaboration with staff. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, ELIS credentials, and three letters of recommendation.

One 24-day semester - 6 weeks (June 8 thru June 25 - July 6 thru July 25, 2026). You must be able to work the entire contract - no exceptions.

Location: ProspectHigh School

• 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.


• 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)


• Driver's Education endorsement.


• Demonstrate a willingness to work with students of diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.


• Ability to work with other teachers in a collaborative environment.
