A leading community bank is seeking a Seasonal Floating Teller to provide exceptional customer service and efficiently process banking transactions. This part-time role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to promote the bank's sales culture while ensuring accurate transaction handling. The position averages 30-40 hours per week during summer and requires availability over holidays and breaks.

Provide timely and courteous service by processing transactions efficiently, answering customer questions, and referring customers to the appropriate department, ensuring positive feedback from both customers and departments.
Promote the bank's sales culture and participate in the referral process based on customer needs, while engaging in bank promotions and meeting referral goals.
Offer professional paying and receiving services accurately and within defined authority limits. Be knowledgeable and proficient in various banking transactions including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, night deposits, mail, check orders, transaction reporting, Reg CC holds, cashier's checks, savings bond redemptions, stop payments, and wire transfers.
Maintain daily transaction records and balance them accurately and promptly, researching outages efficiently without assistance. Perform operational duties such as managing safe deposit boxes, handling NSF and collection items, balancing ATMs, and maintaining security checklists and reports.
Interact constructively with co-workers to foster a positive work environment.
HOURS will average approximately 30-40 per week during summer and be available over holidays and breaks, including filling in for vacations. This position is budgeted for 800 hours per year.
