Job summary

Allevio Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinicians at our Rio Rancho clinic. The role involves preparing exam rooms, managing patient records, educating patients, and coordinating radiology and lab services.

This is a part-time position (Thu-Fri, 8am–5pm) based in Rio Rancho, NM. The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant program, strong communication, and organizational abilities, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel to alternating office locations based on provider need (travel required).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, preparing patients for examinations, and performing various medical tasks. This position is a part time at our Rio Rancho clinic Thursday- Friday 8am-5 pm.
