Job summary

Danbury is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Chesterfield to clean resident apartments and public areas according to our schedule and procedures. You will also handle laundry in our commercial facility and uphold high cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or related experience and can work independently while communicating with residents and staff. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and benefits in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or 1–3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to the standards and procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed.
• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Relate information concerning a resident's condition to appropriate staff.
• Operate machines such as buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment.
• Additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping Lead.

Primary Responsibilities for Housekeeping

Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time The employee must be able to read write and speak fluent English While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens The employee will occasionally lift andor move up to 25 pounds The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others The noise level in the work environment is moderate Occasional travel to different locations may be required
