Job Responsibilities:

• Package slit rolls according to customer specifications and operate manual packaging lines.
• Cut cores, band, and perform related packaging duties, adhering to Avery Dennison standards and Exact program requirements.
• Operate slitting, rewinding, and automated packaging equipment (higher-level roles).
• Rotate shifts as needed; work D Team (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.).
• Sort, label, and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring quality and customer specifications.
• Inspect finished products for appearance and quality.
• Maintain supply of packaging materials and prepare cores for machine operators.
• Communicate effectively with team members and coordinate operations.
• Track multiple orders simultaneously and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, perform 5S duties, and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3+ years relevant manufacturing experience.
• Commitment to safety and serving as a safety role model.
• Strong focus on service and quality; proactive in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, including short notice.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license and lift up to 50 pounds.
