Job summary

Kyrene School District is seeking an instructional assistant to help maintain a well-organized classroom environment and support the instructional program with available resources. The role requires a valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card and a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Experience with children is preferred to ensure confidentiality of student information and effective classroom support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or any combination of education and experience sufficient to perform duties.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential student, school, teacher, and parent information.
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Essential Duties: Classroom Assistant

Job Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Experience working with children preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information confidential preferred. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Employment Information: 26/27 school year; 20 hours per week; 194 days per school year

Salary: Band - Support A10 = $15.98/hour entry level
