Job summary

Astro Buildings in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a construction helper to measure, mark and arrange materials for building erection. You will use power tools, ensure alignment with levels and squares, and install roofing, siding and trim as required.

Role requires ability to lift at least 80lbs, follow oral and written instructions, and work effectively with supervisors and crews under time constraints. Compliance with company policies is essential.

• Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely manner.
• Must be able to multitask, possess good communications skills.
• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints.
• Ability to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnel.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.
• Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
