Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) seeks an attorney to join our Las Vegas, NV General Liability team in a full-time role. You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings, assist in hearings, and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex premises liability matters.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of attorney experience and Nevada license.
• Focus on general liability or premises liability where possible.
• JD from an accredited law school; strong writing and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and documents under senior guidance.
• Case preparation for hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
• Client communication and updates with professional handling of information.
• Discovery management and responding to interrogatories and deposition support.
• Court appearances for routine motions and hearings under oversight.
• Risk assessment and compliance guidance for clients under applicable laws.
• Collaboration with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff.
• Meet billable hour targets through efficient case management.
• Participate in CLE and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to firm initiatives and goals.

Your Role

Responsibilities

• Legal Research and Writing – conduct thorough research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents under senior guidance.
• Case Preparation – assist in preparing cases for hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions with organized documentation.
• Client Communication – maintain updates, gather information, and address concerns professionally.
• Discovery Management – handle document reviews, prepare discovery responses, and support interrogatory and deposition processes.
• Court Representation – appear in court for routine motions, hearings, or minor trials under oversight.
• Compliance & Risk Assessment – advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and risks for compliance with applicable laws.
• Team Collaboration – work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to execute strategies.
• Billable Hours – meet assigned billable hour targets through efficient case management.
• Professional Development – attend CLE programs and stay updated on law changes.
• Commitment to Firm Goals – contribute to team projects and firm initiatives.

What You Bring

• At least 3–10 years of experience as an attorney, licensed in Nevada, with a focus on General Liability or Premises Liability cases preferred.
• Strong understanding of state and federal laws related to general liability and premises liability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and time–management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• JD from an accredited school; admitted to practice in Nevada.
• Located in Las Vegas, NV; discretion and strong work ethic.
