Job summary

Melaleuca, a wellness leader, seeks a Copy Writer/Editor to join our Creative Marketing team at our Global Headquarters in Idaho Falls, Idaho. If you love precision and concision, you will help ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand voice across all materials.

You’ll proofread and edit a wide range of printed and electronic materials, may write or rewrite items, and collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in English, editing, creative writing, communications, or equivalent.
• One to four years of experience in a fast-paced creative environment is preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work under stress, and manage several projects at once.
• Strong understanding of English grammar, proofreading, and linguistic rules as defined in style guides.
• Experience using AI-based tools or resources in proofreading and editing.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound understanding of the creative production process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for spelling, grammatical accuracy, and consistency across a variety of printed and electronic materials.
• Proofread and edit magazines, catalogs, brochures, packaging, promotional materials, online content, social media, and more.
• May also help write or rewrite the above items.
• Responsible for understanding, contributing to, and maintaining consistency of brand and company style across product lines and materials.
• Collaborate with and suggest improvements to copywriters and graphic designers to help create compelling copy and messages.
• May work with marketing personnel. Basic understanding of or experience with marketing is preferred.
