Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an MVC Copper Installer on the 1st shift to perform copper fabrication, assembly, and wiring for MVC equipment subassemblies and final assemblies.

The role ensures all copper installations and electrical connections meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, with work requiring lifting up to 35 pounds and a readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to follow safety practices and procedures.
• Within 50-mile radius of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and repair copper layouts and related components.
• Fabricate and install layout copper to support customer-specific connection requirements.
• Ensure copper connections are properly braced and comply with all bracing specifications.
• Maintain required electrical and mechanical clearances throughout the assembly process.
• Install and wire electrical devices according to bills of material, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform visual and functional inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment for self and others.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
