Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Copilot Studio Developer in Tempe, AZ to design, deploy, and support secure AI agents using Copilot Studio and Power Platform. You will connect agents to Microsoft 365 and enterprise data while prioritizing governance, reliability, and responsible AI.

The role emphasizes collaboration with security teams and data owners, lifecycle management, and producing test plans to evaluate answer quality and task completion.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, generative AI, process automation, and enterprise data integration.
• Knowledge of grounding, retrieval, prompt design, context management, and responsible AI.
• Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Platform connectors, REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and service principals.
• Experience with Power Fx, JSON, adaptive cards, and reusable development patterns.
• Knowledge of lifecycle management, testing, source control, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business language.
• Customer-focused mindset with ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, publish, and support custom agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Configure agent instructions, orchestration, topics, entities, and conversation paths.
• Build grounded AI experiences using enterprise data and SharePoint/Dataverse.
• Extend agents using Power Automate, prompts, connectors, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
• Integrate agents with Microsoft Graph, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics 365, Azure, and more.
• Design conversational, autonomous, event-driven, and multi-agent solutions.
• Translate business requirements into agent use cases and backlogs.
• Apply lifecycle management with environments, source control, pipelines, and deployments.
• Implement security, authentication, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Develop test plans and evaluations focused on quality, safety, and reliability.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot via traces, analytics, and history.
• Publish agents to Teams, SharePoint, and web experiences.
• Create technical docs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, data owners, and developers.
