Copay Case Manager - Rare Disease

What You Will Do

In this vital role, you will work in a highly visible, collaborative environment with the reimbursement HUB, Patient Access Liaisons (PALs), and Specialty Pharmacy. You will manage a caseload of patients and work within established processes to facilitate access to prescribed therapies and medication distribution. Providing exceptional customer service, supporting therapy adherence, and developing relationships with patients and providers are key aspects of this role. You must be able to support regional geographies and time zones.

  • Oversee patient customer service issues and support programs daily
  • Partner with Safety and Pharmacovigilance to report adverse events and product complaints
  • Maintain case history for all U.S. patients, documenting interactions from various stakeholders
  • Work with PALs, regional Case Managers, and care sites to provide copay assistance information
  • Review patient Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) for billing accuracy
  • Coordinate with the hub for billing review, approval, and funding of EOBs/ERAs
  • Attend industry conferences to stay current on trends in copay assistance programs
What We Expect Of You

We value dedication and unique contributions. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience in Case Management Copay/buy and bill
  • Or Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience
  • Or High school diploma/GED plus 8 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare
  • Copay or buy and bill experience is a plus
  • Previous Hub experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA regulations, and product/disease information
  • Ability to communicate across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Up to 30% travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor, self-starter attitude, strong interpersonal skills
