POSITION TITLE: COORDINATOR, SUSTAINABILITY - 250 DAY
This position will remain open until filled. The first screening of applications will take place at 8 a.m. on August, August 28, 2026. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
The Sustainability Program Coordinator supports the School Division's waste diversion initiatives including waste reduction, recycling, and composting, and works to establish accountability for sustainability goals at every level in the School Division, while working across the county to ensure coordination of sustainability practices. This position is responsible for developing and monitoring the School Division's Sustainability program under School Board-approved policies and regulations, for the purpose of reducing the School Division's environmental impact and helping to achieve sustainability goals. The Sustainability Program Coordinator directs resources and activities related to program practices for the Division to include: assisting with grant preparation, student leadership development, community outreach, data gathering, solution-oriented problem solving, preparation of educational materials and assisting with the development of curricular projects related to sustainability.
Grade 14 Salary Range: $100,853 - $163,483 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package
