OVERVIEW

OBB MEDIA is seeking a full-time Coordinator, Social Strategy with a deep understanding of the social media landscape, working primarily at our West Hollywood headquarters and sometimes at OBB's Hollywood studio facility and on location as needed. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented go‑getter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and prides themself on creating fresh and unique content.

The right individual is genuinely passionate about creating social media content, has prior editing and platform management experience, can prioritize their workload, effectively manage their time and remain extremely detail oriented while accurately handling high‑volume projects. This is an onsite position that will ensure quality asset creation and delivery as well as platform management and occasional content capture. There will be exposure across film, tv, digital, branded, and live content.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Edit and deliver properly formatted video and static social posts for OBB's O&O channels as well as for external stakeholders.
  • Post and manage content on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist in managing OBB's O&O channels.
  • Capture content on‑set and at events and activations.
  • Timely post‑tentpole event asset organization, management, and distribution to relevant partners and stakeholders.
  • Create and pitch new social formats and creative concepts for consideration.
  • Track and report on social analytics for OBB's O&O channels as well as for external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Conduct research and prepare concise briefing materials (project context, talent/brand background, face sheets, recent press, cultural relevance) to inform social strategy, content planning, and external‑facing social moments.
  • Coordinate post‑meeting and post‑activation follow‑ups by organizing key takeaways, action items, and timelines related to social deliverables, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor cultural trends, platform updates, and audience behavior to inform content ideas and posting strategies.
  • Community management on social channels.
  • Tracking and sorting video and still set capture.
  • Producing social moments and cuts from long‑form projects across long‑form video, short‑form video, and podcasts.
  • Ideating on social and digital concepts for brands and other engaged clients.
  • Ensure all notable press mentions are properly highlighted on Twitter, IGs, LinkedIn, and the OBB website as part of overall Social and Communications Strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in lieu thereof.
  • 2+ years of editing and social management experience. Experience in paid media and developing or auditing paid media plans a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while delivering outstanding results.
  • Exceptional project management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to review content containing rapid flashes or alternating patterns of different colors.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within a team environment and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to work in a seated position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to use fingers, hands, and arms at a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to speak clearly and distinctly, and hear and be heard and understood in person and by telephone.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, walk up and down stairs, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds (and occasionally up to 50 pounds).
  • Must be able to visually and physically inspect areas of the work site.
  • Must be able to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to drive, have reliable transportation, a valid license, and valid insurance (mileage is reimbursable).
  • Some travel is required for this role. Must be able to travel by car and airplane.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is an exempt on‑site role Monday through Friday, and may require work on weekends occasionally. The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the final candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is eligible for a full range of medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. Additional financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered, may apply.
