Job summary

Job Summary

This position will be the dealers' main contact person for all customer orders assigned. May work closely with outside customers, dealers, sales, production, materials, quality, and engineering functions to ensure we clearly and accurately define the products we are building.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process Special Requests and assist with sourcing special items.
  • Process customer orders Assist with dealer sales team to finalize orders for production.
  • Answer questions from the outside sales team as they relate to the product line.
  • Communicate with dealer sales department to resolve operations issues including change orders and other customers' inquiries.
  • Train and support dealer sales team and sales coordinators level I on systems, processes and procedures.
  • Complete special requests for options and pricing independently.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must be able to think through complex tasks and interpreted into ambulance manufacturing language, as they relate to the product and individual customer requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the manufacturing operations team to include presenting information to individuals and small groups.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced (internal and external) customer service problem solving time management and project management kills.
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of the specialty vehicles manufacturing process - body, interior, exterior, electrical, and how they relate and affect each other.
Education and/or Experience
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Excel/Word, Outlook.
  • Prior Quotewriter experience preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of manufacturing specialty vehicles or related experience.
  • 2 years of ambulance manufacturing experience preferred.

  • 80% Indoor Office and 20% Production Floor may vary by location
  • Personal protective equipment required while on the plant floor:
    • Safety glasses, or prescription safety glasses with side shields
