As a part‑time Resource Development Coordinator on the Corporate Philanthropy team you'll be an integral member of a collaborative, mission‑driven effort -- providing administrative and campaign support that helps our fundraising professionals build strong corporate partnerships and successful workplace giving campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, coordination, and making things happen behind the scenes.
The Resource Development Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and campaign coordination support to the Sr. Director of Workplace Philanthropy and the Corporate Philanthropy team.
This role plays an essential part in the success of workplace giving campaigns and donor engagement efforts by coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate donor information, preparing campaign materials, supporting events, and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the team.
Unlike a fundraising role, this position does not manage a donor portfolio. Instead, the Coordinator serves as the organizational backbone of the team, allowing fundraising staff to maximize time cultivating donor relationships and growing philanthropic support throughout Polk County.
Every United Way Central Florida employee is a disaster response worker and may be expected to support community response efforts when an Emergency Support Function (ESF) is activated, after ensuring personal and family safety.
