Job description

About Sony Music Entertainment

At Sony Music Entertainment, we fuel the creative journey. We’ve played a pioneering role in music history, from the first-ever music label to the invention of the flat disc record. We’ve nurtured some of music’s most iconic artists and produced some of the most influential recordings of all time.

Today, we work in more than 70 countries, supporting a diverse roster of international superstars, developing and independent artists, and visionary creators. From our position at the intersection of music, entertainment, and technology, we bring imagination and expertise to the newest products and platforms, embrace new business models, employ breakthrough tools, and provide powerful insights that help our artists push creative boundaries and reach new audiences. In everything we do, we’re committed to artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship.

Sony Music Entertainment is a member of the Sony family of global companies.

Project Support is responsible for executing the day‑to‑day logistics that power campaign delivery across Campaign Leadership, Audience Development, and Campaign Operations, ensuring all assets, platforms, and communications are accurate, timely, and aligned.

This role owns the completion of critical campaign tasks across multiple artists and projects, managing workflows related to asset creation, approvals, and distribution while maintaining organization across timelines and systems. While Campaign Leads and Audience Development teams define strategy and creative direction, Project Support ensures that execution is carried through cleanly and without gaps.

Operating within established systems and processes, this role supports the movement of assets and information across teams, helping maintain consistency across websites, social profiles, newsletters, and artist‑facing touchpoints.

Project Support works closely with internal teams and, at times, artists and managers to facilitate approvals, distribute materials, and ensure all campaign components are properly implemented. The role also plays a key part in identifying potential delays within asset and approval pipelines, proactively flagging risks to keep campaigns on track.

What you’ll do:
  • Asset Requests (Banners, Teasers, Pre‑Roll, Cutdowns, Animated Artwork, OOH)
  • Asset Tracking & Approvals Coordination
  • Website Management
  • Artist Newsletter Creation & Distribution
  • Video Description Implementation (in partnership with Audience Development)
  • Social Profile Setup & Maintenance
  • Tour & Release Information Updates
  • Artist Onboarding Support
  • Link Management & Distribution
  • Cross‑Team Coordination for Deliverables & Deadlines
  • Workflow Tracking & Deadline Risk
Who you are:
  • 6 months+ working or interning with an entertainment/music company
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across multiple projects
  • Ability to manage timelines and ensure task completion across fast‑moving campaigns
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders
  • Comfort working within established systems, tools, and workflows
  • Familiarity with social platforms, content publishing, and digital asset management
  • Ability to identify potential bottlenecks and flag risks proactively
  • Willingness to support across a wide range of tasks in a collaborative environment
  • 2+ years in entertainment or lifestyle‑based digital marketing or community management.
What we give you:
  • You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to channel your passion every day
  • A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork empowering you to bring your best
  • An attractive and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability coverage, and 401K + employer matching
  • Voluntary benefits like company‑paid identity theft protection and resources for pets, mental health and meditation resources, industry‑leading fertility coverage, fully paid leave for childbirth or bonding, fully paid leave for caregivers, programs for loved ones with developmental disabilities and neurodiversity, subsidized backup child and elder care, and reimbursement for adoption, surrogacy, tuition, and student loans
  • Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community.
  • The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt, and create what happens next
  • Time off for a winter recess
