Coordinator - Personal Property Tax (Remote)

Job Description

The Tax Coordinator reviews exemption certificates submitted by the branches and assists with remediation of invalid tax certificates. Additional duties include preparing annual reports for taxing jurisdictions, business licenses, and assisting in monthly sales/use tax return processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file annual property tax forms with local jurisdictions and process internal allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with all state self-assessment requirements.
  • Collaborate with distribution accounting to accurately measure tax liabilities related to inventory and fixed assets.
  • File state and local business licenses and annual reports for all operating entities.
  • Coordinate with the tax director and internal teams to determine nexus creation activities and filing requirements.
  • Track and process annual real/property tax payments for domestic entities.
  • Perform other tax responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of related training or experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Onesource Property Tax software preferred.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

The salary range for this role is $51,000 - $63,750, based on experience, location, and other factors. Wesco offers benefits including health insurance, disability insurance, 401k, and Paid Time Off.
